Every year one of our best-read research documents is our annual Consumer Benchmark Data Overview Report. This is the big one: The report covers it all, from forecasting device adoption to understanding
green attitudes. Its a great summary of data on
consumers’ technology adoption and attitudes.
Forrester clients can check out the report here on our site and everyone should also see the nice piece that the New York Times did on it as well.

This year the report looks at consumer technology adoption through the lens of lifestage. While we're finding overall that consumers' love affair with technology endures, some interesting tidbits emerge from the data. While young single families are the most connected, older consumers (ages 40 and older) spend the most online:
They've spent on average $560 dollar online in the past three months, and about one in five spent more than $1,000 online.

Hope you enjoy the report. It's full of great data to help you run your online business.
