Forrester Research, Inc. (Nasdaq: FORR) today announced plans for the upcoming Forrester Marketing & New Media Forum, “Selling To Europe’s Digital Consumers,” to be held November 1-3, 1999, at the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam, Netherlands. This two-and-a-half-day Forum will focus on how companies can use technology to influence consumer shopping and boost online sales.

Forum speakers will explore how Internet technology is changing consumer shopping habits in Europe; what strategies retail, marketing, and media companies need to adapt; how the Internet can be used to drive online and offline sales; and why most Web sites fail and what must be done to fix them.

“European consumers are ready to buy online,” says Emily Nagle Green, Managing Director, Forrester Research B.V. “Retailers need to get serious about selling to digital consumers. This Forum will tell retailers the real story about their online customers using Forrester’s Technographics® data.”
