Aaina Agarwal

AI & Human Rights Consultant , formerly of the World Economic Forum

Aaina Agarwal is an AI & Human Rights Consultant, formerly one of the first members of the Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning team at the World Economic Forum.  She is a human rights lawyer by training, having received a Masters of Law focused on Tech Policy & Human Rights at NYU.  Her work involves framing AI policy issues for founders, organizations and political campaigns.  She has experience creating and managing multi-stakeholder ecosystems to inform policy governing AI and its societal implications.  This includes combining stakeholder input with an evidence-based understanding of the issues to devise solutions that are actionable yet effective at addressing human rights concerns. Prior to focusing on AI & Human Rights, Aaina was a corporate lawyer for emerging companies in Los Angeles.  She holds a J.D. from USC Law and a Bachelor’s degree from Duke University.
