Head of Customer Experience & Insights, Strategic Eduction
Amy Shioji is a CX executive who has led customer-focused business growth across multiple industries and brands such as USA TODAY, AARP, and Strayer University.
In her current role as Head of Customer Experience and Insights (CXI) at Strategic Education, Inc., Amy serves as a catalyst for the company’s customer experience strategy and culture – leading voice of the customer, articulating and executing the customer vision, creating scalable design systems, and design, and optimizing product and service delivery. She leads a team of CX strategists, experience designers, and insights professionals driving cross-functional prioritization, enablement, and accountability for CX initiatives across the organization.
Amy also serves as a board of the Customer Experience Professionals Association (CXPA), helping to raise awareness, optimization, and thought leadership of the CX profession.
In her spare time, Amy enjoys running, coaching, and training for ultra-marathons – though she considers customer experience her true “endurance” sport.
