Brian Knollenberg

VP, Digital Marketing & Analytics, BECU

For the last 20+ years Brian has helped lead, manage, ideate and optimize digital marketing and analytics campaigns for clients such as Verizon, REI, Microsoft, Nordstrom, Amazon and HP while working for some of the largest and best known agencies in the world (FCB, Wunderman and Razorfish).  Following a 3 year stint leading Strategic Services on the West Coast for Oracle Marketing Cloud, Brian joined BECU (the nation’s fourth largest credit union with 1.2 Million members and $22B in assets) in mid-2016. His passion is in solving complex business problems, understanding and using data and designing/optimizing full lifecycle marketing programs. At BECU, Brian is focused on unlocking member value through the use of data and insights, leveraging data as an organizational asset, and executing campaigns at scale across all digital channels. BECU has spent the 3 years plus of Brian’s tenure moving away from batch and blast campaigns to a more behavioral, trigger based marketing philosophy revolving around customer lifecycle and journeyswhile continuing to develop and leverage more always-on machine learning based technology. He also volunteers to advance two of his passions in cycling and music as a member of Cascade Cycle Club’s Board of Directors and Digital Strategy advisor to KEXP.
