Eric Wangen leads the Sentry Insurance Personal Lines customer experience effort to help associates have common customer knowledge, use one brand voice to deliver a leading customer experience. Eric loves exploring and solving the why and how. This curiosity has lead him through leadership and executive roles in engineering, quality, manufacturing, global supply chain, product management and marketing with Consolidated Papers, Stora Enso and currently Sentry Insurance. He holds leadership and board positions with community focused groups like the Boy Scouts of America. Through his career, Eric has discovered these basic truths – 1. Customers know why, so listen carefully. 2. Teams can answer how, with a vision and freedom. 3. As a father of three daughters, there are no clear answers to why or how.
