John brings over 20 years of experience as a B2B technology marketing executive to the Portfolio Marketing practice. He has successfully launched new industry and platform solutions, built and executed go-to-market initiatives, and developed and implemented matrixed marketing models across product, industry and regional field marketing teams.
John has served as a director of industry marketing at ATG, Pegasystems, and Akamai Technologies and headed up global campaigns, global events, customer marketing, and marketing operations at Akamai. John was vice president of marketing at the start-up Generation5 and led the “intrapreneurship” program for incubating internal startups at Cognizant Technologies. John continues to mentor start-ups through programs at Harvard Busines School and MIT.
John holds a BA in Sociology from Harvard University and did graduate work at the Annenberg School for Communications at the University of Pennsylvania.
