Ramana Bhandaru is the head of Financial Services- I&D practice globally. Ramana has been in financial services for over 23+ years with deep domain expertise of financial services. He has extensive expertise in data management, Big Data and analytics.

As head of FS I&D Ramana provides oversight into Banking, Capital Markets and Insurance clients and solutions. He regularly works with CDOs and CTOs advising on strategy and road maps. He is currently focusing on strategies to leverage data as the disruptive agent in digital transformation and analytics.

Prior to joining Capgemini Ramana has successfully launched and managed enterprise wide initiatives in Risk Management, Wealth Management and Derivatives. He has worked as Managing Director, head of data strategy for global functions in CITI group. He also held responsibility as chief architect for Smith Barney. In addition, he has worked at Bank of America and Lehman Brothers.
