Group Chief Customer & Marketing Officer, FWD Insurance
Tim leads FWD’s Group marketing, brand, communications and customer experience to support the company’s vision to change the way people feel about insurance. In this unique role at a challenger brand that is only six years old, he has a proven and successful track-record in spearheading new and innovative propositions designed to positively shake up an archaic and traditional industry with a signature style that is customer-led and enabled by digital technology.
Tim’s also responsible for strategic commercial partnerships, guided by his seasoned expertise in new company development and business transformation programmes. He has more than 28 years global experience across the insurance, banking and financial services industries. He was previously Chief Executive Officer at Aegon NV Integrated Marketing Services, overseeing both its
Asia-Pacic operations and its high net worth Transamerica Life Bermuda brand where he developed a new customer value proposition, overseeing signifcant growth across all distribution networks. Prior to Aegon, Tim was Chief Executive Officer at Cigna Worldwide, heading up its Hong Kong division. At Cigna, he implemented a pioneering new multi-channel marketing strategy, achieving significant increases in revenue and profit.
Tim is originally from the UK and is married with twin sons.
