Healthcare Designer And Researcher, Google Health

Xin Xin is a healthcare designer and researcher who is passionate about inclusive and human-centered design. She recently joined the Google Health team to explore how AI can transform the future of medicine and healthcare. Prior to that, she led UX Research at One Medical, where the team is building a world-class primary care system. As one of the earliest designers on the team, she led work on the vision for the company’s electronic health record system and enabled a human-centered culture through a research program of shadowing, going to gemba, and member interviews. She has also worked at IDEO on redesigning the voting system for Los Angeles County and rethinking clinical research for a major hospital system. Xin’s name in Chinese translates to “Spicy Happy”, which she tries hard to live up to.
