Rachel Kobetz

Rachel Kobetz is Head of Experience Design at Bank of America, leading a multi-disciplinary Design organization responsible for digital and physical experiences across Bank of America and Merrill Lynch.

Prior to joining Bank of America in October 2017, Rachel was Head of Studio, New Product UX at Amazon’s Human-Centered Design group, where she led a team of designers, technologists, and researchers working across a broad spectrum of spaces blending hardware, software, services, and brand experiences. Previously, she was Senior Director of UX at Samsung’s Mobile Innovation Lab, responsible for end-to-end experiences for flagship devices, early product/service concepts, and advanced product development.

Based in San Francisco, Rachel is passionate about the integration of user-centered innovation, technical insight, and systems thinking into a design-driven product development process — creating products that resonate with users and improve their lives.
