Data and Geography Systems Manager , Ulta Beauty

As a location intelligence expert, Ralph helps ULTA create a clear, strategic vision for an enterprise geographic information system (GIS) that supports organizational goals.  In his 15 years with ULTA, Ralph has worked with teams in IT, Market Research and Real Estate with a focus on enabling broader spatial analysis across the enterprise.   Prior to ULTA, Ralph has worked with several well-known organizations such as Urban Retail Properties, State Farm and Case New Holland (CNH) supporting their location intelligence initiatives.   

Ralph served with the US Army from 1991 to 1997, where he mastered his skills in advanced cartography and provided spatial analytics and mapping training for company personnel.  His volunteer experience with the American Legion in Illinois, spanning more than 20 years, has included esteemed positions such as Executive Board Member, Vice Commander and President.  Ralph is the current Chairman of the Esri Retail Special Interest Group, where he’ll help shape leading Retail industry initiatives and their cross-section with location intelligence.
