I’m Refreshing Our MSSP Research In Asia Pacific: Don’t Miss Out!
It’s been two years since our initial evaluation of the managed security services provider (MSSP) market in Asia Pacific (AP), and it’s time for an update! The first stage will be an update to our MSSP market overview and vendor landscape: “Now Tech: Managed Security Services In Asia Pacific, Q3 2020,” kicking off in mid-June. We’ll follow that up with our full MSSP vendor evaluation: “The Forrester Wave™: Managed Security Services In Asia Pacific, Q4 2020,” kicking off at the end of July.
In addition to analyzing the MSSP market and vendor landscape, the Now Tech will also provide an opportunity for us to identify important MSSPs in the region that don’t qualify for the Wave.
If you would like to be considered for participation in the Now Tech, or if you know of an MSSP that’s important in our region, please reach out to myself or my senior research associate, Seles Sebastin (ssebastin@forrester.com), so that we can get in touch with a questionnaire.
When we published my first Now Tech on this market in 2019, the key elements we called out that enabled MSSPs to thrive in AP was their ability to tune into regional nuances and leverage them to better serve and retain customers. As we launch this research, we look forward to identifying the developments and improvements that regional providers have made in their products and strategy roadmaps.
And for those of you not familiar with our definition of this market, Forrester defines an MSSP as follows: third-party organizations that continuously and remotely manage and monitor security technologies for customers. The four primary MSSP domains include, but are not limited to, perimeter and network security, application security, endpoint security, and identity and access management. MSSPs offer multitenant service delivery, automation, and a one-to-many support model to maximize economies of scale.
We look forward to hearing from you and making sure that we have a strong inclusion of the most important MSSP players in AP.
