Tips for Using the Digital Platform

Logging in to the Platform

Accessing & Viewing Content

  • Use filters like Date of Session, Session Type, or Breakout Session Track to find sessions.
  • From the Content Listing on the left, click the session title you’d like to view.
  • Then, click the thumbnail on the right—your video will open. Hit the play button to start watching.
  • Click the Clock Icon to save for later or the Thumbs Up to like a session. Access saved videos via My Videos at the top.

Accessing Presentation Materials

  • Click into any session you’re interested in.
  • Scroll down to the White Papers section to download presentation materials.

Troubleshooting

Trouble accessing the site? Try these steps:

  • Ensure you are using the correct direct link (one of the links that are posted above).
  • Confirm internet connection is stable at time the error message is received.
  • Confirm which browser you are using (see below for guidelines).
  • If using a VPN and unable to access, it may work best to disconnect.
  • Close the tab/log out.
  • Clear browser cache (In Chrome: History > Clear Browsing Data > Select “Cookies and other site data” and “Cached images and files” > Clear data).
  • Open a new browser window and log in again.
  • Check that ad blockers, network settings, or anti-virus software are set up to allow the site.

Forgot Password?

If you’ve forgotten your password, simply click “Forgot password” on the login page. You will receive an email from Sonic Foundry (no-reply@sonicfoundry.com) to reset. After resetting your password, please make sure to click on the unique event link to access the event.

Mediasite supports on-demand and live presentation playback on Linux. In order to play back Mediasite content we recommend the following:

  • VLC Media Player (to install H.264 codecs)
