This partnership signifies Forrester and eMarketWorld’s commitment to developing unique eBusiness events that promote the sharing of ideas among executives. Under the agreement, Forrester will provide ideas, research content, and speakers for eMarketWorld events.
“This partnership is designed to bring Forrester’s industry-leading research and analysis to a much broader audience — potentially 10,000 senior executives over the next several months,” said Mary Modahl, vice president of marketing at Forrester Research. “Forrester is pleased to be working with eMarketWorld, whose engaging and informative Internet conferences provide a fantastic vehicle for delivering Forrester’s understanding of the Internet economy to key decision-makers.”
Forrester and eMarketWorld will collaborate on six conferences over the next three months: eTravelworld, eHealthcareWorld, @d:tech, eFinancialWorld, eAutoWorld, and eMediaTainmentWorld. The conferences will provide attendees with the opportunity to hear presentations from industry leaders, participate in discussions focusing on key industry issues, and meet with representatives from leading solution providers. The events also offer unique networking opportunities for both industry veterans and newcomers.
“Our conferences are content-driven with a strong focus on solving problems and discussing issues in today’s business environment,” said President and CEO of eMarketWorld, Skip Brickley. “By working with Forrester Research, a group that truly understands the challenges and opportunities the Internet presents, we’re able to guarantee the executives who attend our conference that we are addressing the issues most relevant to their companies and industries.”
“We pride ourselves on providing today’s business leaders with a forum to make decisions that will significantly impact the future of their industries,” said Jonathan Yarmis, president, Internet Content Group, and chief content officer of eMarketWorld. “These conferences, combined with Forrester’s preeminent understanding of the Internet economy, create a special knowledge-sharing environment for executives in a variety of vertical industries.”
